Is your child interested in learning about music but too young to begin taking lessons on an instrument? Would you like to have your child begin learning some of the basics now? We are introducing a new music class designed specifically for preschool children to learn basic music concepts in a fun and fully interactive way! This class uses songs and exercises that will engage your child in the joy of making music. And, don’t worry- there’s a good dose of silliness included in all activities to keep the kids laughing and engaged! Parents are always invited to join in on the activities.
This class is presented by Susan Peak, a Durham, CT-based music teacher and performer specializing in children’s music shows. Susan, who sings and plays guitar, bass, and ukulele, was educated at the acclaimed Berklee College of Music in Boston and has been writing, teaching, and performing music in Connecticut and Florida for many years. She also worked as an Occupational Therapy Assistant for 10 years on a break from professional music, which only enhanced her ability to teach and work with students of all ages. As mentioned, Susan is also a songwriter and uses many of her own creations for teaching and conveying the joy of music. Learn more about Susan at – http://studioblueguitar.com/
