Zoe Vandermeer - Harp, Piano, Voice

The harp is truly a beautiful and enchanting instrument. Zoe Vandermeer teaches one-on-one and small group lessons for beginning to advanced level harp to ages 8 to adult, a wide range of repertoire from folk songs, classical, baroque, world, to new age. She also composes pieces for her students both for fun and to help them with developing a particular technique. Harp duets and harp ensembles are also a great way to learn so if you have a friend, you can sign up for lessons for 2!
Zoe Vandermeer is a prize-winning graduate of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, is on the Roster of the CT Commission on Culture and Tourism, and is a member of the American Harp Society. She has given performances, presentations and workshops for the Sao Paulo International Harp Festival Brasil, American Harp Society Summer Institute Utah, HarpCon2003 Bloomington, American Swedish Historical Museum Philadelphia, and elsewhere. She plays both a very large Celtic harp as well as her Welsh triple strung harp. As a singer, she accompanies her singing with harp, and enjoys working with students who wish to learn the harp, learn how to sing with the harp, and much more!
Don't have a harp? No problem! Harps can be rented monthly, and there are some smaller harps that can be purchased for a reasonable price.
